A very familiar prayer of God’s people is that He would hear our cries from heaven and heal our land. Many of us have certainly prayed that same prayer and lifted many other prayers and petitions over the years of our lives. Have you ever questioned the power of prayer? Do you have doubts on whether your prayers are heard? Pastor Josh challenges us to not only pray, but to humble ourselves, seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways. Prayer is effective when we are serious about our confession and accepting the truth that is found only is Christ. Let us be a people who’s prayer life is an inward search for the honest truth and for correction. Let us boldly approach God’s throne with confidence because of Jesus sacrifice knowing the truth only found in Him.
