The Grieving Sisters

In John 11:1-37 we read about "The Grieving Sisters". We can find new life in Jesus, just as the grieving sisters did when they witnessed the resurrection of Lazarus. In the story, when those who loved Lazarus cry out, "Lord, if you had been here, he would not have died," Jesus does not dismiss their sorrow; He weeps with them and proclaims, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me will live, even through they die." This declaration is a powerful invitation for us to trust in His heart and timing, transforming our mourning into hope. As the sisters come alive in the knowledge that Jesus has the power to resurrect, so too are we called to embrace the promise that in Him, death is never the end but merely a passage to a renewed, vibrant life.
